A Dallas insurer will be sending agents updates about term life applications as it makes underwriting decisions rather than sending the information out in batches.[@@]
The insurer, Jefferson National Life Insurance Company, will be working with AgencyWorks, Salt Lake City, to send agencies “real-time” case status updates through the Web using a standard data format developed by the Association for Cooperative Operations Research and Development, Pearl River, N.Y.
Jefferson National is a unit of Inviva Inc., New York.
