MBI Bank Inc., Waltham, Mass., and The TriZetto Group Inc., Newport Beach, Calif., are working together to sell to managers of health plans that incorporate personal health accounts.[@@]

MBI develops debit-card-based systems for giving employees access to the funds in health reimbursement arrangements, health savings accounts, flexible spending accounts and other personal health accounts.

TriZetto develops systems for running health plans.

TriZetto will be including MBI capabilities with its Facets e2 CDH Suite health plan administration product and TriZetto’s QicLink e2 CDH Suite for benefits administrators, MBI says.

The alliance should help employers link access to several different types of personal accounts, such as HRAs and FSAs, to the same card, MBI says.
