Updated Travelers Life Site Emphasizes Searchability

A unit of Citigroup Inc., New York, says producers should have an easier time getting information from it through the Web.[@@]

The unit, Travelers Life & Annuity, says programmers have changed the site to give producers the ability to view entire books of business on a single page, listed by bits of information such as account number, account owner and account value.

Producers can save all the quarterly statements for the accounts in their books of business at one time, and they can fill out PDF forms onscreen.

When a producer finds and selects one form in the form database, the database will deliver any other forms that might be required along with the selected form, Travelers Life says.

Another feature will simplify the process of searching and sorting fund performance data, the company says.
