NU Online News Service, Oct. 14, 2003, 2:45 p.m. EDT – UnumProvident Corp., Chattanooga, Tenn., has added a middle level of service to Comparative Reporting & Analysis, its Web-based system for tracking and analyzing unscheduled employee absences.

Employers can use the system to evaluate the incidence, duration and cost of unscheduled absences.

UnumProvident has been offering a basic version of the service aimed at small employers along with a customized version aimed at large employers.

Now the company is introducing a mid-level version, the Enhanced CR&A services package, aimed at employers that need extra information but can get by without extensive customization.

The enhanced package provides more detailed reports and more tools that employers can use to schedule, store and view reports on the Web. Users of the enhanced package also can run customized data queries and export the results to standard spreadsheet and database programs, UnumProvident says.
