? Benjamin Ledyard, a veteran wealth advisor and former managing director of the Wilmington Trust Company, has joined Silver Bridge Advisors. Ledyard will serve as director of wealth strategies for the Boston-based firm and as regional director for the Mid-Atlantic area working out of Wilmington, Delaware.

? Tim Kochis, CEO of Aspiriant, the powerhouse wealth management firm formed in 2008 by the merger of San Francisco's Kochis Fitz and Quintile Wealth Management of Los Angeles, has announced that he will be stepping down from his position effective November 1. He will be succeeded by Rob Francois, who had been Quintile's CEO and has served as Aspiriant's chief operating officer since the firm's founding. The change in roles has been expected.

? Duane Thompson, managing director of the Financial Planning Association's Washington, D.C. office--and the planners group's top lobbyist, is leaving the FPA after 14 years.

? Steve Fadem has joined Geller & Company, the New York-based strategic financial advisory and wealth management firm, as senior managing director and COO.

? Mick Moloney has been appointed head of Mercer's global Financial Strategy Group (FSG). The FSG, a joint initiative of Mercer's investment consulting and retirement, risk, and finance consulting businesses, provides strategic funding and investment advice to large corporate and complex fiduciary clients to help them manage financial risk in their retirement programs.

? NewOak Capital has announced the appointment of William Denton as managing director and head of client development for its integrated advisory, asset management, and capital markets businesses. He will be responsible for coordinating all client development efforts for advisory and capital markets areas of the firm.

? Ben Jackson has been named senior executive vice president of SunGard's Energy and Commodities business unit, which is the newly formed combination of SunGard's Energy and Kiodex business units. Matt Mandalinci, former president of SunGard's Energy business unit, has taken a new position as president and chief customer officer of SunGard Higher Education

? The SEC has named University of Texas law school Professor Henry Hu as director of a new unit, the Division of Risk, Strategy and Financial Innovation, which combines the Office of Economic Analysis, the Office of Risk Assessment, and other functions.

? D. Sean McDade, a wealth management professional for nearly 20 years, has joined North American Management Corp. as the director of client services. In this role, McDade will work closely with clients to identify their financial needs and objectives.

? George Keith, a Wall Street veteran with three decades of experience in asset management, brokerage, clearing, and accounting, has been named president and COO, as well as elected to the board of directors, of both Westport Resources Management, Inc. and Westport Resources Investment Services, Inc.

? SouthernSun Asset Management, a Memphis-based investment management firm, has expanded its leadership team with the addition of Rebecca Smith as director of client relations and business development and the promotion of Cliff Sulcer to president of SouthernSun Funds.

? Everest Trust Company has announced that senior trust advisor Kristine Neuhauser and trust advisor Lisa Cerchiaro have joined the company.
