Cayman National Latest GIS Client

HACKENSACK, N.J. (HedgeWorld.com)--Cayman National Trust is the latest Cayman Islands client for Global Investment Systems Ltd.

Cayman National, which handles fund administration, will be using GIS's MFAC, MSHARE and MPARTNER software programs.

GIS was the only vendor considered by Cayman National, according to Ian Phillips, president of international financial services at Cayman National Corp., the parent company of Cayman National Trust.

"GIS allows us to support everything from equities to forward contracts to mortgage bonds," said Mr. Phillips in a statement. "Also key to our decision was MSHARE's performance fee equalization module."

GIS has more than 3,500 mutual funds, hedge funds and portfolio accounts in its client pool, which in turn manage more than US$300 billion.
