PFPC and Beauchamp Offer Outsourcing Platform

LONDON (HedgeWorld.com)--PFPC International and Beauchamp Financial Technology are offering PFPC's European hedge fund clients access to Beauchamp's flagship software.

The software, FundManager, will be part of an outsourced trading and portfolio management offering for PFPC's clients. The program will be hosted by PFPC and accessed remotely by clients using technology similar to Beauchamp's ASP version of FundManager.

"FundManager will work extremely well with our modular approach to technology options and, when combined with our other leading technology solutions and world class client services, we believe this will be a compelling offering to both hedge fund and traditional managers," said Joan Kehoe, managing director of PFPC International, in a statement.

Users can directly or indirectly enter trades into the FundManager platform. They also can view the profit and loss and performance reports online intraday. The FundManager platform will feed directly into PFPC's back-office accounting system and to prime brokers, according to officials.

According to a statement from Beauchamp President Clare Flynn, the company will be working closely with PFPC and furthering the firm's capability in offering outsourced service technology.

Earlier this year, Beauchamp launched its ASP version of Equity FundManager (see ). The program was designed specifically for long/short equity fund managers.
